When Sofigate's Group Financial Controller left her role in the middle of the summer of 2024, an immediate need arose for a qualified replacement to lead the group reporting and external accounting team. NIS was able to quickly deliver an experienced interim solution in the form of Annina Kaaja, who took on the role as Interim Financial Manager.

The assignment entailed responsibility for group reporting, cash flow management, fixed costs and support in mergers and VAT projects. Annina quickly established good communication within the team and initiated regular one-to-one meetings to promote open dialogue and secure leadership.

Sofigate had previously hired NIS and knew that the company could deliver high quality – even during vacation times. The interim solution allowed them to avoid gaps in financial management and at the same time gain time to redefine the permanent role for upcoming recruitment.

For seven months, Annina ensured continuity, stability and development in Sofigate's finance function.
