During the summer of 2024, Witted Megacorp Oyj faced a transition period when the finance department lacked resources during the recruitment of a new Business Controller. To ensure continuity, the team was strengthened with a consultant from NIS as Interim Business Controller. The NIS consultant quickly took on a central role in the daily finance work, further developed reporting routines and contributed to efficient financial closing work.
At the same time, NIS also provided sustainability expertise in the form of ESG expert Aura Koikkalainen. She supported the work on Witted's first CSRD-adapted sustainability report, conducted internal training and ensured correct data collection and report structure.
Together, the consultants from NIS played a crucial role in ensuring compliance, creating insightful reporting and supporting decision-making – which contributed to continued growth and stability for Witted.
